Good standing certificate

If you are doing business outside the UK, you might find that a bank or other organisation you are partnering with requires a ‘good standing certificate’. This is a one-page document from Companies House which confirms that the company is in good standing. That is to say, its confirmation statement and accounts are filed up to date and no action is currently being taken to strike the company off the register.

When you order a good standing certificate from us, we will give you a few options:

Standard or express service

With the standard service (£40 +VAT) it takes around 7-10 days for the certificate to arrive with us from Companies House. If you require the certificate more quickly, the express service (£90 +VAT) will mean you will have an electronic copy of the certificate the next day.

Optional information

As standard, the certificate will give the name of the company, the date it was incorporated and a statement confirming that it is in good standing.

You can choose to add any of the following pieces of information:

  • Names of directors (and details such as date of birth or nationality if you wish)
  • Name of company secretary
  • Registered office address
  • Issued share capital
  • Names of shareholders
  • The company’s objects

If you would like to know more or if you would like to order a good standing certificate for your company, please contact us.
